Our specialty-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors, Dr. Luke Robinson and Dr. Robert Westrol, are dedicated physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists committed to providing patients with the compassionate, world-class care they deserve and need to emerge stronger.

Our physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors are medical experts who are highly skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal disorders, including those of the nerves, bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles.

How Our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Doctors Help Patients Emerge Stronger

When our physiatrists develop an individualized treatment plan for a patient with a musculoskeletal disorder, their first step is to perform an evaluation that may include different tests, such as a nerve conduction study or an electromyogram (EMG). They will then develop a nonoperative treatment or rehabilitation plan using physical therapy, rehabilitation medicine, or another medical treatment option.

Our physiatry specialists have undergone extensive training in physical medicine and rehabilitation and specialize in a variety of treatments and rehabilitation techniques, including the following:

  • Fluoroscopic-guided epidural steroid injections
  • Fluoroscopic-guided facet joint injections
  • Pain management treatments
  • Sacroiliac joint injections
  • Spinal cord stimulation
  • Trigger point injections
  • Ultrasound-guided interventional procedures

Our physiatrists understand that patients sometimes have questions about their medical or rehabilitation treatment options, which is why they are dedicated to spending time to educate and provide patients with an understanding of their diagnosis, the available rehabilitation and treatment options, and how each option can benefit them. They also makes sure to answer any questions the patient might have about their medical condition or rehabilitation or treatment plan.
