Dr. Christopher Daley is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon and an expert in computer-assisted surgery and minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of all arthritis, degenerative, and sports medicine conditions.

He has three undergraduate degrees in separate disciplines: chemical engineering, biology, and psychology. After earning his medical degree with honors from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, he completed his subspecialty training in sports medicine at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Daley is a published author in the field of orthopaedics and a major author to a text on sports injuries. His recent publications include the 2018 monograph on MSK for internationally acclaimed DAN Boater (Divers Alert Network).

In addition to total knee, hip, and shoulder replacement, Dr. Daley is certified to perform the Oxford® Partial Knee replacement and the Mako® robotic-assisted unicompartmental knee replacement and has extensive experience in the implementation of custom knee prostheses.

Dr. Daley is proficient in arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff repair and instability in addition to arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction. He has achieved excellent results for his reverse shoulder replacement patients.

Dr. Daley and his wife, Andrea, are blessed with nine children. The whole family is proficient in American Sign Language and are proud to confess their Christian faith.

Currently, Dr. Daley sees patients at our practice locations in Morganton and Valdese.
